Policies.
REFILL POLICY:
· Please note, most medications are prescribed DURING the appointment.
· Dr. Ella always writes for enough medications to last until your next visit.
· A refill request between appointments is 30$.
· A refill request between appointments needed WITHIN 48 HOURS, is considered an emergency refill and is 100$.
· Please ask for your refill at least 7 days in advance.
HOW TO AVOID REFILL CHARGES:
· Always call your pharmacy FIRST to check whether you have your prescription or refill.
· You can get a 3-day emergency supply WITHOUT a doctor’s prescription for an active non-controlled medication.
· If you are traveling, please ask for a TRAVEL prescription DURING an appointment or 7 days in advance to avoid additional charges.
PAYMENT POLICY:
· No insurance is accepted. We are out of network with all insurances.
· If you have out-of-network benefits, it is your responsibility to submit the claim, but would be happy to supply a superbill to submit for your insurance.
· Medication prior authorizations are submitted by the doctor at no charge.
· Most charges are collected 24 hours PRIOR to the appointment.
· Your payment is due on the day the service is rendered.
· Only credit cards are accepted. No cash or checks are accepted, unfortunately.
SCHEDULING/
CANCELLATION POLICY:
· You are required to cancel or reschedule your appointment 48 business hours prior. If you are unable to cancel/reschedule your appointment 48 hours prior, a full fee will be charged. Weekends/holidays are not included in business hours.
